"Look for all the wiggle butts!"

Who attended?
Estimated attendance:  11  people attended.
4.5

In the four years that Nor Cal Aussie Rescue has been in operation Kim has placed 672 homeless Aussies in caring homes. Every year a reunion is scheduled and it's always guaranteed to be a blast. You've never seen so many wiggle butts in one place!!

I know this event is far, but Pt Isabel is beautiful! It's a 23 acre park and dogs are allowed OFF leash! I've posted the link to the park. Pack a lunch, the dogs, and be prepared to have a ball. I hope you all will consider going. This will be a great opportunity for the dogs to play play play. It is also a super chance to see all the hard work that goes into placing great Aussies in great homes.

A message from Kim @ Aussie Rescue
Hi All,
Just need to ask anyone coming to the Reunion on June 21 to please not bring your picnic lunch to the area where we meet. There are picnic tables near the dog wash (Mud Puppies) and the Cafe where you will be able to enjoy your lunch in peace!
Also....please no Frisbee or ball throwing in the area where we meet.

There's 23 acres...but the reunion takes place on about 1/4 acre! THANK YOU!!!

Kim

Lisa, I was happy to see you and Huck again and meet Neil. Thanks for helping find the group with knowing everyone's names. You are both amazing to even show-up considering the sad news you received. Give Kelly lots of Love, Hugs and Kisses.

Thanks again to everyone who came out! What a WONDERFUL place Pt. Isabel is!!! I'm sorry I wasn't a social butterfly today. Neil and I found out that morning that our 13 year old Husky Mix Kelly, has been diagnosed with Leukemia. We had alot on our mind and were very anxious to get home. However..stay tuned for further info on herding in July. Brian and I are still working on every last minute detail. Hope everyone is staying cool.

Yikes, is right! I think I'll fill-up today in case it shoots up another 20 cents by Friday. I'd offer to carpool but my car can only handle myself, Rusty and Cody. If anyone has transportation that can handle the 3 of us, I'll split the gas with them. I'm in Sacramento, off Highway 50.

Hey Liz, Thanks for the post. Apparently the same area we meet, we play in. We can venture off on our own to explore more of the property however. The dogs can eat at the cafe as well. If I rememer, there is outdoor seating. I hope I don't get lost eihter..haha. I'm sure Kim will have some directionals once you enter the park. I hope more people come too...it's a far trip, and with the way gas prices are....yikes! See you there!!

Be Prepared for an Aussie Frenzy!

Who attended?

    •  Great time had by all. Max took a few steps into the water it wasn't for him,but he enjoyed running around with his Aussie buddies. The girls had fun skipping rocks on the water. Thanks to Kim for putting it all together.

Rusty loved mixing with all the other Aussies and later swimming in the ocean. Cody didn't quite know what to think at first but finally joined in and had a great time especially with the ocean. It was a beautiful day, the weather at Pt. Isabel was perfect and so much room to run, play and explore. We will go again for sure!
    •  Leo had a wonderful time at the NorCal Aussie Resuce Annual Reunion. He was a very pooped puppy all the way home!
